sababid

/sa·BA·bid/noun
  1. From sababa, Hebrew and Arabic slang for “all good, no stress”, plus bid.
  2. A renovation where the final bill matched the bid, and nobody had to raise their voice.

How it works

One request, three checked pros, one clear choice.

  1. Describe the job

A few words, a few photos and your area. You do it once, not once per contractor.

  2. Get up to three bids

Only pros who passed our checks can bid, and every bid is itemized line by line.

  3. Compare and sign

See what each bid includes and what it leaves out. Pick one and sign the contract online.

Questions

Is Sababid open yet?

Not yet. We’re in early access and opening area by area, starting in Israel. Join the list and we’ll tell you when your area opens.

What does it cost?

Nothing for homeowners. Pros get a free verified profile. Paid tools will be optional, and prices will be published before anyone is charged.

Why three bids and not more?

Three is enough to compare and few enough that each pro takes the job seriously. More bids mostly means more phone calls.

How do you check pros?

Before a pro can bid, we check their identity and business details, plus their registration with Israel’s Registrar of Contractors and their insurance where the work requires it.

What does the name mean?

Sababa is Hebrew and Arabic slang for “all good, no stress”. Add bid and you have the whole idea: a renovation where the bill matches the bid.

Do you sell my details?

No. Your details go only to the pros bidding on your job, three at most, and we don’t sell them to anyone.
